Womenfolk: This vintage and consignment shop specializes in high fashion with a Western edge: when this writer last visited, she spied a rare Ralph Lauren corset from the 2003 runway, suede Khaite boots, and guinea-feather Celine skirt, just to name a few. And those are just the brand names: there’s also old turquoise jewelry and fine-crafted belts, whereas the whole back room is dedicated to statement fringe jackets and quality denim. You’ll likely leave with more than one find.

Best friends Greer Freed and Amberley Baker recently opened Womenfolk, a local consignment store stocked with gently loved vintage wares (fringed leather pants, chambray shirts, Fair Isle sweaters, and cowboy boots) pulled from the closets of fifty or so local Jackson women whose personal style they admire.

Womenfolk boasts a collection of curated pieces of vintage designer clothing from around Jackson Hole. Knives from New West Knifeworks are world-class blades and true showpieces, and Alpyn Beauty from Belle Cose is a sustainable skincare line crafted with ingredients grown in the nearby mountains.
